Hi, I have the same problem as yours, but mine due to a trauma. I accidentally bent my penis downward and a hard cord-like vein appears from the base up to the middle and branches to the left. These vein bumps are giving me a mild burning and itching pain which gets worsen during an erection. It's been a month since the incident and I haven't see any improvement yet :(
I have the same symptom now. It has been happening for 2 to 3 months. I wanted to post to find out if anyone has an update and to follow this discussion automatically.
Thank you in advance. Feedback and solutions would be appreciated.
Any progress? How is your penis now? Like you, my dorsal vein is permanently raised and I am now waiting for my urology appointment.
I also have muscles on the side of my penis that seem to be constricting and tense all the time. My penis feels like it is retracting.
This has all been caused through blunt downward force fthat was applied during sex and it has been getting worse over the last 3 years. First I though I was imagining it, and a urologist said I was fine but he just wanted my money and didn't really care. I am going to get an answer from someone no matter what. Because this is my penis and its depressing me to see it in this state.
Experiencing weaker erections.
My penis is smaller when flaccid.
The skin around my penis is much looser. If I push down on the dorsal vein, the head of my penis fills up with more blood than if it is left to its own devices.
I need recommendations for a good doctor in the UK please. GP or Urologist or both.
Whatever you have, I am pretty sure I have the same thing. It looks incredibly similar (same spot too). Let me know what you find.

Yea, it's still the same. Maybe a little worse actually. I'm waiting for my Urology appointment, which won't be for another 4 months at least :\. I came up with an idea (probably stupid one). I used my old electric toothbrush last night. On areas of my penis as it distributes vibration all over and thorough the tissue. It doesn't hurt. It's actually nice (not sexually nice :) ). I was thinking that vibration might help to give the movement to the static veins.
Is it a bad idea?
Hi,
How are you? It is good that initial evaluation and diagnostic tests were fine. The venous network can be affected by inflammatory processes under certain conditions, such as sexual trauma in the dorsal region. Differentials of superficial thrombophlebitis of the dorsal vein include sclerotizing lymphangitis and peyronies disease and other urological issues and must be ruled out. Diagnostic tests such as doppler ultrasound may be requested also. Take care and do keep us posted.
