I lost 3lbs this week> i think because i was sick since Christmas Eve, so food was not appealing to me!!

I gained 3.5 pounds as well.  What a shocker!  I didn't weigh in the morning as per the usual...but still not a great thing.  Time to get real and get moving!  ; )

You guys are so great to come on and share.

I'm still out of town, couldn't get a rental to go home today and plus am still sore, but I should be home tomorrow.

I'll report on Tuesday, since I prefer to weigh in the morning.  So I guess I have a little more time to get back on track, but I'm expecting (and ok with) being up this week.

Well, 3 must be the magic # because that's what I put on this past week also.  I think it's the same 3 pounds that I've lost and gained back at least a dozen times and quite frankly, I'm really tired of seeing it come back after struggling so hard to lose it; and I didn't even totally overdo the food either!!  Yes, I did eat more than I should have on Christmas Eve, which is when we actually had our Christmas dinner, but then I've eaten ok since then.  I had expected to gain a pound or so, but totally did not expect 3.

Ok, I know - so quit whining and put my big girl panties back on and get with the program again. :)

Ohhh .. by the way .. I know the triggers I dealt with and succumbed to.  Sadness, loneliness and stress.  Daughter is divorcing, spent Christmas day alone and those two things brought on sadness.  So .. I failed and ate .. but will not give up and will overcome.  Just wanted you to know that I have learned .. and will not undo all the good that I've done because I've had a couple of setbacks.

Keep smiling .. it's a wonderful life and we learn so much about ourselves from our failures and prove our strength and courage to trod onward.

If you find yourself in the same predicament, forgive yourself quickly and let's get on with it!  :D

If you made it through .. please share your strategy and tips .. to help all of us the next time!

Well, I'll be first .. my numbers did not go down, they went up!  3 lb up!!!  The holidays, the home cooked food, the cakes, cookies, candies, chicken and noodles, crackers and cheese all proved too much for my resolve.  Once I indulged and ate "a little", the old monster kicked in and said .. well you did it now!  Again the old behavior won a battle, but it will not win the war.

Had my cheerios this morning and have started all the processes necessary for change.  Cleaned out the refrigerator, dumped the noodles, sent the cake and goodies home with others.  Have homework I will share with you later in a separate post .. it will help us all get on track.

Well .. there it is .. done.  Although I didn't pass the holidays well, am now on track and happily looking forward to the preparations for the challenge, exercise, healthy eating and bringing my final goals to reality in 2009!!!  Going to reach my goal weight of 154 this year .. and we are then going to have a HUGE PaRtY !!!

Love to all ..
