The few times I looked on MH yesterday for this post, it wasn't here yet. I did update my tracker. I lost 1.5lbs last week. My goal is to be 140 (YESTERDAY!!!), but 2 lbs per week at this point would be nice :) .

Well I have only been gonig at it for about a month. I started at 197 and am down to 191.4 for a 5.6lb weight loss. I am 5'3". We shall see how my weight loss goes for this week. No sweets planned. Although I do have some 100 calorie twix and snickers bars in preparation of the sweet tooth.
My goal is 135 by my birthday next year in September. Hopefully I will be close.

Started this journey at or around 198 pounds (height 5' 5")...some time ago. I am a slow looser secondary to a medication that I take for a seizure disorder. That's okay...just makes things really slow. You are definitely talking to a turtle here. ; ) So anyway...last week weighed in at 161. Had only lost 2 pounds for the entire month before that. This morning I am at 157. Guess it caught up to me. ; ) So I am going to keep on plugging. My goal is 130...but firm, not too skinny. ; )
Total loss for this week equals 4 pounds.

Well, I thought about not posting today, but that wouldn't be right to skip out just because I didn't lose anything would it?
I am 5' tall and currently weigh in at 146.2 (yeah, pretty tubby). My highest weight was 150 and I did get down to 142 at one point but gained some back, so I guess I have a total loss of 4 lbs. My ultimate goal is to get back around the 115 lbs I was before my thyroid whacked out one me almost 2 years ago. So that means I've got a total of about 30 lbs to get rid of. I can't even think of the whole 30 lbs at once though because it seems so horribly overwhelming; therefore, I try to stick to a goal of about a pound or 2 a week and lately I haven't even been able to handle that, but at least, I've managed to hold steady between 143 and 146, so at least I'm not going up by leaps and bounds. I've changed my eating habits a lot over the past year and even learned to eat a lot of things that are good for me but I always disliked before. I have a job that requires a lot of activity and involves a lot of walking (3-5 mi/day), plus I try to work out on Wii Fit every day, though I haven't had a lot of time for that lately.
Am spending lots of time in doctor offices and getting lots of blood work, scans, ultra sound, etc, so am hoping that something comes of all this to shed some light on why I can't lose anything. Another dr appt in the morning.
Anyway, bottom line: if we are measuring total loss since we started, I'm down 4 lbs since June; but if we are only measuring for this past week, I'm up 2.5.
goku--Weight loss and a new home?!? What great news. Yeah, I think we've done our posts just fine. We can come back in 1 week and see if we're up, down, or the same.

I am 5'3 currently at 131 lbs, I started a month ago and was 137 lbs so weight loss in a month is 6lbs and this past week i lost 1.5 lbs! My first mini goal is to be under 130 again so maybe this week maybe next week! My ultimate goal is to be between 120-125lbs and i really want to tone up.
I have been wanting to get my weight under control and exercise and eat right but the reason i have not until now is because i lived my in laws for awhile and i just moved into my own home! So now i have space and freedom to do everything i need to do to make that happen!! I know some peeps say you live with ur in laws why cant u just make your own meals blah blah... but with my dh's family it just couldnt work out!!

Well, I'll take a stab at it none the less. I am 5'9", and my weight (which I measured on Friday) is 230 lbs (yeah yeah, I know I'm the community heavy weight!) Last May, I was 270 lbs. My goal is to get to 170 lbs, but I know that is a long weight off. My next mini-goal is 225.
Here's a fun confession: I actually started to eat better in April, but I couldn't get an accurate weight until May. Know why? My bathroom scale only goes up to 270! So while my official total loss to date is 40 lbs, it actually took me a few weeks to get within range of my scale!!!
I've been STUCK lately, hopefully our group wide weigh-ins and the testing my doctors are doing will get me movin' the RIGHT WAY again soon.
