Baby Temperature

I have a newborn that had a fever a few days ago but now I'm wondering what a normal temperature for a newborn is ?

96.4 Fahrenheit. I think.

Im sorry! My mom just told me it's 98.6 Fahrenheit.

Absolutely not 96.4. It should be above 97.5 and below 100. Preferably in the 98's.  Anything out of that range is a problem. Cold or hot. You need to call you pediatrician if your baby is out of that range.  -NICU nurse
