What is wrong with me???

I am 22 years old and have 3 children (5,2 & 9 months). I have given birth 4 times with all full term pregnancies, one ending in a still birth in 2007 due to placental abruption. After the birth of my 3rd child (4th pregnancy) in mid-august of last year (about 9 months ago) which I nearly lost to another placental abruption, I have been consistantly bleeding (like a period). This has been going on EVERY DAY for over 9 months now. Sometimes it is really heavy like I'll go through a super ultra tampon (15-18g) in an hour for 2, sometimes 3 weeks streight. Then it will get lighter to the point where I only have to where a super (12-15g) and change it every 4-6 hours as recomended, but it never gets any better than that! Luckily my husband doesn't mind much so it hasn't presented any problems for our love life, but it is expensive and annoying. Lately over the past week or so I have started to have these really bad cramps all day every day (almost like labor pains) and they are consistantly getting worse. I am also passing anywhere from quarter sized to fist sized blood clots quite frequently! I was trying to seek medical attention until I lost my medicaid (we made $1 more than the income guidelines allowed) but we can't afford insurance and I no longer have medicaid. I have been to the E.R. on more than one occasion for this issue. They just pump me up with drugs for the pain, tell me I'm anemic and to take iron, say there's nothing wrong with me and send me home! They don't run any tests or anything! I don't even want the drugs they give me, I just want answers! Lots of different cancers run in my family so I'm really scared this is something serious. My best friends sister was just diagnosed w/ cervical cancer at 17 years old so obviously cancer can hit anyone at any time. All theses doctors keep saying i'm fine but something really tells me I'm not! I can't stand for long periods of time now w/o getting dizzy or sometimes even passing out! I can't play with my kids like I use to. I can no longer work because of how weak I am from blood loss. How is this not serious? Are these doctors crazy or blowing me off because I don't have insurance? What is wromg with me??? PLEASE HELP ME... I'M SCARED!!!!

I agree. You are NOT fine. Please go get some help immediately. It doesn't mean it's OVCA but something is not right! Don't leave until you get an answer and a plan. Best of luck to you.

Why you are having all this uterine bleeding I would not begin to guess.  The dizzines, feeling of passing out, etc. is related to the anemia.  It is very serious because you are having a signfignant amount of blood loss.  I am sure your red blood cell count is low as well as your iron count.

You definitely need labs, US of the uterus, etc.  Why you are getting "blown off" I can't say.  You are NOT "fine."

Is it possible the OB/GYN following you during your pregnancies can follow up with this problem?  You need someone to help you like NOW.  No free clinics or a teaching hospital in your area?  These places can help you out in your situation.
