constant bleeding with progesterone only pill

I have been on a progesterone only pill (microlut) for a week, and have started having constant bleeding and alot of uterine cramping,  I had this when I had an implanon a few years ago and had it taken out. My GP refuses to prescribe me monofeme which I was previously on as I get migraines. It seems progesterone only options arent for me, and I cant be prescribed combined... what are my options?! im 26 and have no plans for wanting kids anytime soon, but was also hoping to not have a period so often as I suffer from heavy bleeding and really bad pains.

Well I was on a that same progesterone pill to because I have migraines and it made me bleed for a whole month and it threw my hormones levels out of sort so I stopped taking it for about a year, then went back to it

Hi there.  Well, clearly this is not the right pill formulation for you.  Too much progesterone in the body does indeed cause spotting and irregular bleeding that is frequent.  You need to go back to the doctor and discuss a better option for you.  good luck
