MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can also be due to trauma to cervix like in sexual intercourse or due to cervical infections.

My advice is to wait for some days and if any accompanying feature like pain lower abdomen or itching, foul smelling discharge is present then get a pelvic examination done for infections.Otherwise wait for your periods and if you miss them then get a urine for pregnancy test done.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
