itch and pain after sex

Hey,
Ohkay so i JUST lost my virginity like about 2 weeks ago, not even maybe.
and the guy i lost it to, has had sex many many times before me.
and well for about a week now, my vaginal area has been REALLY itchy and painful, theres no bumps or anything strange but im not experienced or anything and i have no idea what it could be!?
what do i do?

I really dont think you should just leave it, you need to do something. STD's can be very serious if left untreated (not saying you have one, but you could) If the itching is as unbearable as you say I cant imagine why you wouldn't want to get checked out.

Nothing to skip out on when you have something going on down there... Sounds like it could be anywhere from an STD to a yeast infection.  Don't think it's a yeast infection and be in denial... It could be a nasty STD!!!

Don't skip out on the going to a doctor.

if i were to just leave it, would it make it worse? or just go away in time?

It could be a yeast infection. Vagisil makes screening kits, you pee on them and it tells you if you likely have BV or a yeast infection or any other kind of infection down there, you might want to pick one up.

Did you use a condom? If not then it could be a lot of things. Your best bet is to see a dr. if it persists.
