Hi,
I am currently checking my blood pressure at home, I am not hypertensive so do this once a year for 7 days. ( 64 years old )
I noticed for 2 mornings this year, an isolated high diastolic, 124/105, and the day before 130/103. All others over 5 days three times a day pretty much in the 75-80 range, similar to all readings last year.
My readings tend to be high for the first and then settle down to a decent average of around 122, which is fine. I wondered however, if the 2 isolated high diastolics was of any significance? Or are these just to be expected occasionally, and, if not consistently high can be noted but nothing more?
