Two months. No Alcohol, no vicodin... Nothing bad has entered my body (except for cigarettes *ahem* and I still feel like **** all the time. I get tired easily, depressed, double vision, weak, etc. Sad thing is almost everyday I think about drinking or popping a pill. Addictions are ****. Absolute ****. How long is this going to last?

hi. you should see a competent physician. chemical dependencies cause neurotransmitter imbalances that do not disappear overnight. additionally, i highly recommend and suggest (as one suggests using a parachute when skydiving) to find an aa or na group in your area. those are places of miracles.     gm

The depression and being tired should go away soon, along with the wanting a drink or popping a pill............old habits..........can't say about the double vision????????

I used to drink more than I should every day, the want to have a drink hung around for longer than wanting a pill .....for me anyway.

Congratulations on 2 months ...hang in there, it will get better!!!!
