tramadol addiction

Hey guys, just browsing through the internet and came across this site.  I have a lot of experience in tramadol addictions and withdrawals especially through my own withdrawals experience. I'm also a qualified staff nurse and have specialized in addictions for 3 years now. If there is anything I can do to help anyone please do not hesitate to ask

no. I didn't have one at all i just gradually came off the tramadol one at a time. I have been clean now for 2 years. I work my self as a support worker for addictions and substance abuse, also a qualified staff nurse or RN  My best friend is a therapist who works along side me in the same clinic which comes in very handy. If find my addiction helps me help others as a can relate to them.

the low moods is unfortunately one of the worst part of the withdrawals, for me it was anyway. I felt for a long time I would never get back to my old bubbly self.  Which in turn made me want to take more tramadol as I knew it gave me that lift, but you have to be strong it is in a way your mind playing tricks on you. Testing your will power.  Although it is hard to motivate yourself try a little exercise it is a great way to give your body a push start and get those serotonin levels back up.

first of all well done on staying off the tramadol for 7 months, as for your low mood It could well be weather related people do tend to suffer from the winter blues at this time of year. It could also be the fact that your serotonin levels are just not quite right yet even though 7 months is a long time your body may need more time to adjust. It took me a full 11 months to get back to my old self. hang in there
