30 days today

Just wanted to check back in with everyone. Today is 30 days for me and 28 for my husband.

I started back at work on Tuesday and my fears were completely unwarranted. I have always been that person that hated comnig in the next day after calling out sick. So, after being out for 30 days, I was really nervous.

Energy levels are ok, but could defintely be better. I guess I keep waiting for this magic day to wake up and feel energized and ready for life. I was hoping that was today. :) Ehhhh, not so much. So, I will just keep waiting patiently to feel better.

It does get better, though. I feel a million times better than I did the first two weeks. So, there is hope!

Way to go Emerody!!! Just remember "KEEP MOVING" I wasn't able to when I first started and it delayed my progress. It not only helps physically but also mentally. Mental is the killer. I pray for your continued progress. God bless

You're so right. I tortured my body for 6 years. It certainly isn't going to heal in a few days or month.

It is better. I couldnt even leave the couch to pee. Now, I am at work and not snoozing at my desk - a habit of mine while on pills :\

Colorado is a wonderful state. Mostly sunny- 300 days of the year. I would never leave. Hopefully you get to come back someday.

This is GRAND!!!  HAPPY ONE MONTH!!!  That first month is the hardest..glad to hear you and your hubby are doing so good and so happy your work situation turned out like it did.

Each milestone, 30, 60, 90.....more and more healing....what a gift to give to ourselves, eh?  Keep rockin your recovery...it looks good on you!

Congrats to  you both!  I know what you mean about the energy levels and the minute I moan I remember it took me years to abuse my brain so what is a few months to get it back.  I'm at 42 days so just about where you are and it is better isn't it? !!!!  Congrats again...

I see your in Parker.  I miss CO.  I lived there for 6 years after college & always said i wanted to live there.  Haven't made it back but maybe someday.

Congratulations on your month clean! I am so glad you are feeling better and being patient. It doesn't come all at once. You will feel even better at 2 months and 3 months. Hang in there and keep moving forward, and racking up the time. The rest will come.

Hi I remember when you first came on.  Good to see you pushing forward...hubby too!  You guys sounded a lot like me and my hubby.  It does get better.  Just hold on tight for any low points that try and suck you in!  Congrats and prayers out
