Computer virus

Friends and family i'm going to have to quite coming on here, I keep getting viruses. I have a good virus protection on my computer but it still keeps getting through. I want to wish you all  the best life free of drugs as possible. And thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving my like. Way to go Spider, so proud of you

I agree it's not this site.  We had several different computers several years agi, a desktop and a couple of laptops.  Even though I had good virus protection, we kept getting viruses and they all kept crashing.  I even replaced the laptops a couple of times.  Then I needed to replace the desktop and get my oldest daughter a new laptop for school.  Several people told me Macs don't get viruses.  Or if they do, it is rare.

So I found that to be true.  We never had a problem with viruses.  (And I did have a computer guy tell me a lot of viruses come from games and music.)

I called Microsoft and they got rid of the virus. it was a bad one, I have meafee  and another one that's supposed t be real good. I;m going to try it because this is my life line, thank you

Please don't leave if at all possible, Tooter. You leaving would be like missing a family member. Please check out alternatives.  I'm hoping this computer issue can be resolved soon! Take care!

Hey Toot I have been on this site since sept of 09 and have never got a viros we use avast protection you can down load it right from the internet for free thay also have a advanced version to buy if you like but trust me it is not getting in from this site....go into the history it is on the top of your screen and see what others on the computer have been looking at it you have teenagers you never know what you may find please stay with us  I mean it has been daily use since 09 and not even a flutter from this site.....................Gnarly

Hey sweet Tooter, i cant use my computer because i need to update my virus software and cant even use google without being at risk.
There is a heap of free antivirus protection available on google, that has a 100% protection success.
Norton is a great one but that does cost to download.
Have you set your computer to automatic protection ? That way, the computer wont ask your permission, it will just search and protect daily.
I use my mobile for the internet, at least until my mother in-law can come and put spyware protection on my computer.
Please dont go, we all love you and need you, and you need us too : )

Dear sweet Tooter, please have somebody check your computer. I would hate to see u leave thinking it was MH. I am the least tech savvy person around and have not had a problem with viruses. I use OfficeMax for my computer guys. Hope u get it sorted out and come back!!!!  Prayers and hugs out to you lady!

I have to echo everyone above Tooter- it is NOT this site giving you viruses.  I've been on it for nearly 3 years and have not had a virus and I haven't updated my virus protection.
We certainly don't want you to leave and I don't think you do either (:
So yes, get some technical assistance and stay online with us!!

I agree with Clean, there is an underlying issue and not with this site.  I have been on here for over 6 yrs and this has been the safest site by far.  Please have someone look into your computer first.  We dont want you to leave.

Toot..I am so sorry to hear this..I have been on both computers for almost 2 years and never had anything happen. I order a virus protection and it cost a bit. It is the best one I have ever had and it does not let nothing in.

I did find out from a expert that alot of virus can come from the games you might play on the computer or if you open up a E-Mail with the Paper Clip. All books I have read said that oping up the Paper Clips in a E-mail is the worse!

I sure hope you can find maybe a new virus protection. I use Titanium. It looks like a red ball with a white swirl in it..They have been the best I have ever had. I do you wish you Peace.

Hi tooter!  I would encourage you to take your computer to a technical person or call and have one come to your home.  Like the Geek Squad at Best Buy or some place like Ribbit Computers.  I assure you it isn't "this" site.....there's an underlying problem somewhere and a knowledgeable computer technician can locate the source of the problem.   It would be a shame not to have YOU around here...and I surely hope you'll consider this instead of just not accessing MedHelp.  We love you and don't want you to quit posting...OK?
