Ok so I hadnt done anything to it and one morning I woke up with my knee hurting BAD to put pressure on it the next day woke up with it swelling. Now a week later it's still swollen and has gotten worse over time I've been lifting it above my heart.... Not helping. And no I haven been to a doctor because I have warrants for my arrest. The reason I posted here is because I am also an addict that shoots ice and subutex and everything else.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Go to jail and get the help you need. You'll get medical help for knee and your addictions.  Otherwise you'll be going down a road with no exit except the morgue.

I agree with the above posts you need immediate medical attention. This kindof stuff can kill you. Why would you think that warrants would trip you up at a hospital or urgent care? Believe me, they do not have the resources tof run your name and check.

Bottom line is, you have to take care of yourself!

it could be gout.  I have gout and my knee swells up so much they need to drain it.  check your uric acid levels

AND if you would like help getting off those deadly mix of meds you have come to the right Community. This is a very serious mix and it will not last for ever. Plz consider getting help for your Addiction before it is to late. We have all been there and are now working programs or such to stay clean. All these drugs Whack out our Brain Chemistry and knock down our immune system. It will be hard to fight a infection if you keep using these poisons. Hope & Pray you take a second look at Life. Hi Terryda. Welcome to the forum.. Have you iced it ? I really believe you need to go to the Hospital. Just a couple of months ago a bakers cyst in my knee popped when it got pinched between my knee cap, anyway it immediately swelled and stayed swollen I put ice on it over night a few days later then the next night I thought I was having a heat attack. It seems the ice reduced the swelling but released 2 blood clots that traveled thru my heart. I thought I was having a heart attack My blood test at the E.R. showed the event I was also running a low grade fever. I was lucky it did not kill me. Do not take chances with your life This could be serious.. You could have a infection with a fever. Let us know how you are doing but Please get checked out.. lesa
