That's great! If you can make it 6 days, you can make it permanent! Just make sure you don't have that "stash" anywhere, if you do, flush them immediately!
The mental part is the hard part of addiction, and overcoming those sudden cravings, your brain convincing you to take "just one", is where most fail if they have a stash of "just in case" pills somewhere. So get rid of them if you do!
Finding something to keep your mind focused on will help keep your mind busy and thinking about pills. Avoid idle time, unless its to focus on a movie.
No stash, flushed all of them on day 1..So far cravings have not been an issue untill today.I know if I have been able to make it this far I can make it as long I have the fight in me,which I don't plan on giving up! I have 2 beautiful little boys and they deserve nothing but the best and I will continue to keep fighting for them.Even though they have no idea what I have been doing, they do know mama has been sick for the past year and I owe it to them to get better
That's awesome mama. Cravings come and go. It's great that you don't have pills in the house. I hope it's not easy for you to get more. I still crave. But everyone is different. Some peoples cravings go away, others have them for a while. Your doing all the right things. Just look at your beautiful children and know, they have a clean mama!!!!
That's more powerful than any pill:)
Hi,
Congrats on your 6 days. Cravings are really kicking my butt today too so I can sympathize. That's why aftercare is preached so much here, because it really does give you the tools to learn how to deal with cravings -to do things differently. Some days are harder than others, some easier. Keep fighting :)
