Day 5

Just kicked Day 5 in the tail! Oh yeah! Take that! Went shopping with my mom and daughter today and for the first time in a long time I laughed so hard I had tears, but this time...I FELT IT! I've been so numb! Much needed! Then, I come home to find out my husband has been texting another woman. I swear if I had the sources, I'd be GONE! Not bringing me down! I had too good of a day. He's been so verbally and mentally abusive, I don't even care! That's what's so bad! Even though, SOMEHOW, it'll get turned around on me..... I can't scrape up enough "care" for him to steal my joy! Tomorrow mag be a different day. But today..... Just got kicked in the tail!

Thank you all! I can't wait to get to church tomorrow and experience God grace again...... And FEEL it! Im doing something for myself on Day 7. New scarf? New shirt? Hmmm..... Not sure!

Congratulations on Day 5, That Is Awesome and getting out with your Mom and daughter is wonderful. I am sorry that you are dealing with a abusive spouse at home, but don't let him trigger you into numbing the reality. Stay Strong Sister know that we love you and are praying for you and have faith that everything will work out for the best. Good Job! That is right! Don't let him steal your joy or your sobriety  ever again. So he's texting another woman? Really! Maybe he will go off and verbally/mentally abuse her and save you the trouble of leaving! Good riddance. You just stay tough and keep kicking the days! Everything will fall into place. Be the victor and not the victim!
