There is no way it will be as bad as last weekend. I doubt you will feel fantastic but early withdrawal is horrid. Just rest when you can and don't put a lot of pressure on yourself. Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you both. I'm scared this weekend will be like last weekend which was my first few days of detox. It was AWFUL. Praying I'll be ok tomorrow to shower and clean house a little.
Hope you're feeling better. It's hard when we feel great one day and then feel terrible the next. You will start to feel better more often and the waves of feeling crappy will pass.

Lol, awe Shawnee, I promise it will get better. My day 13 I got a glimpse of what normal feels like. And everyday I have to fight with my energy to feel that. As far as makeup, I have done it twice since I started detox, and I mean I half assed it. Lol. I promise it gets better. And when you get your first "glimpse" of normal you will know it, and you will love it. It makes this whole thing worth it, I promise. You are doing GREAT!
That makes sense. I'm so scared ill never have energy again to even take a shower and do my makeup
I think you will turn the corner any day now. As far as normal, I guess after this we all kind of need to find out what our new normal is. Do things that you enjoy and focus on being good to yourself for awhile.

Yes, it definitely does! I remember from when I successfully detoxed a few years ago and stayed clean for a few months. For the love of God I don't know why i ever went down this road again...but we will get there. I did some online shopping at White House Black Market and Ann Taylor today and that helped just a little :-). Sending you hugs (()).

Shawnee, your are so awesome, don't ever forget that. Believe me I know that feeling oh so well. You asked how you found the energy to go for a walk when it is a struggle just to move.. I literally, no matter how tired I am, force myself to move, walk whatever it may be. Then I rest a little, then move, so on an so forth. It is a constant force and task everyday, all day, but everyday it makes me snap out of it on and off throughout the day. I know you can do it. Do you have music you can take with you? Ipod??? I put my "running" playlist on, it pumps me up and gets me going... your are doing so well.

I know it's difficul at this point to just get up. It's great that you went for a walk. I always felt better after getting outside. Keep pushing through this. It will get better. Keep walking.

I just got back from a 20 minute walk. I feel ok
I try to make myself do something active when I start to feel bad I know it is hard but it really helps with the time but I do know how hard it is when you hit that certain point but it dose help alot time was my enemy
How do you find energy to even walk when you can barely move?
Yay. Great job. I still have days at day 14, and several times throughout each day that I'm weak, exhausted and have no energy. It is a struggle just to move in to a different room. But every morning I force myself to go for a walk. Then it gets better. But by the after noon it gets bad again, so I force myself to move again, go to the gym. I have found that exercise is the key to recovery. You are doing awesome. Keep it up.
