just wanted to brag for a lil bit. so its getting al il colder here nowawdays and i thought id break out the good ol snowboarding jacket and wash it so its ready 4 when i want to hit the slopes. i reached in the pockets to make sure i wasnt going to wash nething important and 2 my surprise there were 2 white lil pills in my pocket. wow!!!! is all im gonna say.  i got that overwhelming feeling. got very anxious and stressed out. i took a deep breath and b4 my mind could start playing tricks on me i had them in the tiolet and they were flushed. they have had to be n that  jacket since last year. what a trigger it is to see them and even have them in my hand. the addict is screaming at me right now so good thing i flushed those pills. im making progress.

Good job on the big flush ang.  On day 8 I found a lortab, I ran an flushed it before I could start rationalizing.. Great job on staying strong.. Andrew

thanks mark...so now im thinkin about all of the spots id hide pills. hmmm.. maybe i should search and clean house. another thing that helped me was looking at my tattoo i just got and i think it helped. nothing like a constant reminder on y i have to stay clean. what a good investment. lol.. ur freind angie

HEY Angie cudos to you and making it threw a high presher point you past the test you flushed them....I had to do a thoural search of my whole house when I got clean
I believe Tramhater came up with a post and it got me thinking about all the double secret hiding places I had...I had methadone stashed all over this house just in case we ever got robed I wouldn't be totally out....I was amazed at all the different spots I had hid the stuff
had bottles and rigs to measure it with everywhere there goon now but it took a wile to find all of them....I still wouldn't be surprised to turn one up despite cleaning out the house
keep your eyes open for stry bottles also your doing good in your sobriety keep up the good work your friend Mark

lol i know the stinking thinking *****. just goes to show u that u always have to have ur guard up bc in a split second ur life could change just like that. u could easyily fall back nto sum old patterns. im confident that the lord above gave me the strength to flush those pills. ...also glad to hear ur doing well also.

Good job!!!!!!  Now I'm thinking about a leather biker jacket I haven't worn in 10yrs.  Lots of pockets on that one.  I think I went through it though a ways back.  The sick thinking just makes me laugh.  Please take a quiet moment to say "thanks" for the power to flush them little buggers.  Glad to hear you are doing well.  God Bless!!!!!

Great job beat down that addiction voice. I was in the same predicament 100 days ago when I found a couple of the evil pills in my night table. I unlike you listened to that voice telling me it's only 1 pill it will be ok so I swallowed one. I had been clean for 28 days at that time so if I had not listen to that addiction voice I would be 128 days clean. I just started the clock again and through the tools I have learned in aftercare I now would have flushed just as you did. So congrats on winning over addiction and you should be extremely proud of yourself so go ahead and brag all you want. God Bless---quitin
