Addiction/ Back Pain

I was recently 2 months ago placed on 15MLG of Oxycondone. I recently ran out about 3 days ago and I have suffered terriable withdrawls. I had no idea that when I was placed on this it would do this..... I have been taking Vicodin to try and help with the pain I have been feeling but I did my hopmework and see that maybe that is not a good idea. LOOK I WANT OFF..... I am never going back to those things and wish I was educated propertly as to the effects of withdrawl..... Is it alright for me to take the Vicodin, maybe even break them in half and take them to help....

If you can stand it its best not to take any of it the withdrawls are bad and will last up to 3 weeks.  Your right health care professionals need to discuss with the patients what is going to happen after your on them a while.  It is so easy to become addict when all you ever wanted was to feel better.  Good luck any questions look me up i've been there done that.

How many times a day were you taking the pills?  For only two months of use, you should be able to kick this fairly easy.  Don't get me wrong, this is a hard habit to break but doable.  Vicodin will only continue to keep narcs in your system and you wont withdrawel.  You need to quit today.  Flush anything you have down the toilet and start fresh.  After 3 days you should start feeling alittle better.  Just keep telling yourself you want off.  You will get there.  Drink alot of fluids and keep BUSY.  I went to work and just kept truckin when all I wanted to do was lay in bed.  The days go sooo slow when you lay around.  Please contact me if you need to talk.  I wish you all the luck!
