Welcome.....I too know EXACTLY what is going through your mind right now....This is going to be rough but doable....I think the worst for me was not knowing what to expect.  I posted a bunch on this site and asked a lot of questions.  This is doable, you just have to understand that once you get over the physical withdrawals that you will need some form of aftercare....AA or NA is free.  This is imperative to keep you sober, many relapse due to the fact that they do not know how to live sober.  I know you are nervous or scared but don't be....It is kind of funny, now that I am 5 weeks sober I cannot believe how crappy I was actually feeling when on the pills....Now that I am completely sober life is awesome....Each day you go through detox will test your strength but just know that life on the other side is wonderful!

I would recommend getting some multivitamins, protein powder, melatonine, valarian root, and some immodium.  Once you go CT then start drinking lots and lots of water....I actually mixed a little orange juice in with the water which helped my stomach and keep the water down.....In the upper right hand you will see a list of items....Go to the Health Pages icon then find the Amino Therapy Protocol article.....This was designed for methadone patience but it works!  You will find a whole list of suppliments which I highly recommend.  I have been through serious detox several times and with the protein powder, suppliments, and some exercise you should get through this quickly.

Another thing.....I too was taking about as much hydro as you are.....My doctor told me that my liver was suffering and that I could not of maintained that pace for very much longer....You probably already know this but you are only allowed 4,000mg of tylenol per 24 hour period.....Even if you were taking the 10/325's you were getting WAY over that amount.  Acetometaphine (Tylenol) is one of the most deadly substances for your liver and kindney's......Basically, you HAVE to quit or you are risking serious injury to your body....Well, please keep posting and try and get all of the suppliments and supplies you need before you go cold turkey....Good luck and God bless!

Look at the bottom right and there is a link to the Thomas Recipe...that helped my husband a lot while he was withdrawing...lots of hot hot baths. It might be hell and it might not...for my husband it wasn't horribly bad, and he had been taking 20-30 (at LEAST) yellow hydrocodones a day...but before this time he was taking less and tried to stop and it was very bad for him.  I think it depends on your mindset.  You can do this :)   Good Luck!
