GRATITUDE List for ALL!

We usually have a Old Timer come on and make a post for all of us that have Gratitude for are clean days. I have not seen one in a long time. I think most of us on here are very Grateful for are clean time and how we have been working to keep it this way. I know for me my whole attitude has changed and I am craving way less, because I am starting to feel really good and I would not EVER want to hurt my Mind, Body or Soul ever again. Grateful to be ALIVE and to Smell the Flowers and I see everything in a Brighter and a more Calmer way.
SO What is your GRATITUDE for the Days or Weeks or Years.

I am grateful to everyone at Medhelp. I am grateful that so many people posted back to me, especially in my first 2 weeks, as I struggled from moment to moment. Now I am grateful that I can go a day or 2 or 3 without cravings or thinking about pills. I am grateful that I am able to still work and be employable. I am grateful that my husband stuck by me and is proud of me. I am grateful that I no longer spend $200 a month on pills.
I am grateful that I am no longer a slave to when the pills will ship. I am grateful that I have nothing to hide from my loved ones. And most of all, I am grateful that I can be a help to others, to pay it forward.

Sorry for being late to the party! I am grateful that I have my internet back! Sounds silly, but being stuck out on the road, it is really a lifeline for me. I am also grateful that I am relatively healthy, for the roof over my head (even though it is moving at times!) , and for all of my wonderful sober friends who have helped me more than they will ever know. I am so grateful for this site and all of the wonderful people on it.

SO I gave it to Meg_Pie because she is so cute and made me hungry and said something about our Bkitty..I thought that was special..Ya Meg..GO-GO and keep on going you have a lot to be grateful for..lol

I am also Grateful that I can drive ANYWHERE and not worry about a DUI under Booze or Drugs haha.

I'm grateful for this list and all of the wonderful thoughts. I just read this right before going into work, really started my day on a positive, uplifting note!!!  And I'm grateful for close to 10 months clean....almost to double digits!!!!

I am grateful that I CAN survive without pills. I'm grateful to GOD and I am grateful for each of YOU. I am VERY GRATEFUL THAT This flu is almost completely gone. I'm grateful for the cravings BC they remind me that I'm not outta the woods yet and have to be careful.

I am thankful to be alive and able to write about what I am thankful for!  My family and friends and MH; all of which have been my lifeline for the past 9 months.  I am so thankful for the little things that I took for granted and/or that tramadol stole from me over the past 15 years (smells, clarity, a sunny day, a rainy day, ANY day!).  I am thankful that I can wake up in the morning and not need a pill to get me going, and actually be HAPPY about it!  Go figure!

Thank you to all of my MH friends, and to you Vic for this great post that makes me remember to be thankful.  And definitely for the BERRIES and of course the pie :))

I am off to bed and to work in the morning...I also am so grateful for all I have been blessed with even the trials as they have and are making stronger and wiser...But most of all I am grateful for a Loving Heavenly Father that loves each of us and knows us by name..We matter to Him..We are worth taking good care of ourselves...I have a big smile on my face right now because I am truly grateful for all I have....Night all..Big Hugs

Right now I am just grateful that all my basic needs are met. I have a home, food and nice bed to sleep in. I really dealing with some ugly demons in my head. In IOP today they told me that when I have those suicidal thoughts I need to make a gratitude list. I also need to learn to "self soothe".

I am VERY Grateful at my age and my long time use to be ALIVE. Grateful to be able to sit here and be able to reach out to someone or somewhere in this Big World.

MY BIGGEST Gratitude goes to My GOD above..Thank you Dear Jesus.

Vicki- monkey bread is comparable to a cinamon roll with cream cheese frosting...sort of. I scoop it up all the time of the boardwalk :) ricart- eww!!  ;). Love these gratitude lists!

I am grateful to see my parents smiling for real again and to watch them go about the daily routine with happiness in there hearts, make's me beam so it does!!! To everyone on this glorious site and most importantly to have found the strength to be open and honest with everyone. I have an appointment with my old counsellor on Wed, that's massive for me!!! Grateful to Weaver and Sarah for my 2 new mottos, Surrender and Guard up!!!

Grateful for me and my new chance to re-learn and re-do, everything!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, All we need is love. Doo Doo do doooo! The thing I am most grateful for is feeling true love. I have craved it so long. I looked for it all over the place. It kept just around the corner, I saw it's shadow. I don't get to feel it all of the time, not the kind of Love I'm talking about, but I DO get to feel it sometimes. I hurt so bad is my spirit and soul sometimes, it can be terrifying, but Love keeps me going. Thank you Vicki, I really needed to think about that. You're awesome!!!
