Harsh Responses

When I first started on this forum, I noticed that everyone was so nice.  I have noticed lately that some people have said some things that seem to be a little harsh to people that are trying to get off of their DOC.  I just wanted to let people know that everyone here is reaching out to get help and that we don't want to be turning people away when they are asking for help.  I am not sure if people mean to be harsh or if it just is hard to tell because it is over the computer.  Could we just read our responses before we post them to people's questions so that we don't turn anyone away?
Thanks!

Good evening. Looks like I missed something. I think we all have it in us to be somewhat blunt at time. But I sure don't want to think about anybody leaving because of something said in what very well may be just a bad moment. I totally missed the crux of this situation, but I've got to say, as bad as some comments might be, this forum is, at it's worst, a very uplifting place. Hopsing, I sure hope that you reconsider signing off. You're one of the most supportive members that I've seen here. I don't mean to leave anybody out. Just a comment where it might help. I hope you all cool off a little, and get past the problem. I've only been here two weeks, and I've been hammered some for my expressed opinions, though they have nothing to do with what anybody else does, I've expressed my thoughts as recovering applies to my self. People offend others innocently at times, Like I said, I have no idea what this is about, but I do know that sometimes people have trouble expressing themselves wholly, and offenses are sometimes taken when no were actually intended. I hope this will be resolved without animosities. Further, if I have offended anybody, I sincerely apologize. I totally agree that nobody should find fault with any others approach to there own recovery. This stuff is personal to us, and needless to say, we are all somewhat on edge. best wishes to all. By the way, I'm finishing up day 15.

Interesting. two things we should practice the most but not talk about. :)
It is true, this is an addiction forum and that needs to be our focus.
