Harsh Responses

When I first started on this forum, I noticed that everyone was so nice.  I have noticed lately that some people have said some things that seem to be a little harsh to people that are trying to get off of their DOC.  I just wanted to let people know that everyone here is reaching out to get help and that we don't want to be turning people away when they are asking for help.  I am not sure if people mean to be harsh or if it just is hard to tell because it is over the computer.  Could we just read our responses before we post them to people's questions so that we don't turn anyone away?

i think of you often..i agree with you..when i first got on here back in jan-feb there was a different "vibe" but WE can get it back!!! there are many here that are great...lets BAND TOGETHER guys/girls and get it back...

All-no but seriously.  THis place has evolved into a different vibe from when I first started in February....although I have evolved too so maybe my perception has changed also.  Back when I started I was a cheerleader for everyone on here trying to get clean and I was passionate about it.  Now I'm in a relapse trying anything to get and stay clean.....like "real" NA meetings (whatever that means) and SUb, and this forum, and meditation, and therapy...etc....  I'm all about the positive support.  Relapse is reality....not everyone's, but alot of people's.  Addiction is most certainly out reality.  I guess unhappiness is alot of people's reality too, which is why some people like to spread it....goes back to misery likes company.  I've never been a mean druggie.  I don't think anyways....so even in my dark hole I'm in, I'm going to jump on the wagon of the happy let's try to keep this forum of addiction a positive place that Firefaery posted here....  negativity doesn't help people want to get cclean.. period.
