Harsh Responses

When I first started on this forum, I noticed that everyone was so nice.  I have noticed lately that some people have said some things that seem to be a little harsh to people that are trying to get off of their DOC.  I just wanted to let people know that everyone here is reaching out to get help and that we don't want to be turning people away when they are asking for help.  I am not sure if people mean to be harsh or if it just is hard to tell because it is over the computer.  Could we just read our responses before we post them to people's questions so that we don't turn anyone away?

There is nothing wrong with straight up. Just ask Gizzy about straight up thruth. When he first came here I gave it to him straight but I didn't make him feel like his method of getting clean was wrong and there was no way he was gonna succeed. I don't think there is a problem with telling someone the truth of the matter.  Lets just use our better judgement. We are all here for the same reason and yes except for the 1 or 2 passers by it is a great forum.

You are so funny.....I just had a dream this morning I was in an episode of Days of Our Lives.  I was putting on a ball gown with Hope and Brady and WTF is her name....Chloe were going to be there...and my bra kept sticking out and I was so pissed and we were in this PHAT hotel.....soap operas........and so like the sands of the hourglass....these are the days of our lives........on drugs.

Long thread....and we have had this discussion before...i think cathy and jacquii, toxic and avisg....I feel that if I do not have anything positive to add then I should ignore the post and refrain from posting....if someone is asking for advice, then I can always give my opinion and it is always good to state "I" did this or that...or "If I did this or that" and to state that everyone is different...we all know that one way does not work for all....and everyone has a different situation/circumstance and personality...I had not noticed anyone being out of line but I am not on here all the time...I do think it is good to have a mix....some that say "It is ok, keep trying " and some that tell it straight up....i appreciate straight up...but I do know that many do not...again...everyone is different
