I need EVERYONE'S opinion on this one...

ive been clean for 2 months off heroin (sniffing, i never shot.) Ive been on and off suboxene for almost 3 years. i am terrified of coming off suboxene cause ive tried for almost 4 days and i wanted to die. I was wondering if i relapsed on heroin for 2-3 weeks and then use the suboxene as a taper like im suppose to if that'd be better than withdrawing off suboxene which i heard takes weeks. The other thing i have to worry about is i cant find good **** and maybe thats a good thing but i have to go to work and can only take 1 week off which wont be enough time to come off of suboxene and i work in retail so im always working and on my feet..can you guys give me your personal opinion of which would be better? im not sure if i can even be on heroin for how many days until the suboxene is out of my system and then be able to use the suboxene like how i was originally suppose to, please help me

It makes absolutely no sense to go back on heroin to get off the sub to go back on the sub and taper off. This makes no sense at all. Either way you are trying to taper off the sub and i am confused as the where the heroin comes in. This is no time to turn to your drug of choice. See a doctor and get some advice as to whether you should even be coming off the sub as it seems to me that if you are even considering using heroin again, that this may not be a good time for you to come off the suboxone. You need to get into some recovery care, therapy, meetings, etc. to get yourself in a better frame of mind before even considering tapering your sub. You will be in my prayers and best of luck to you. Luv, Jacky

Talk to your doctor about going off the Suboxone. If you're getting it off the street, try and taper slowly. You don't have to cut down a huge amount really quickly.

Honey, if you go back to heroin, you could die.  Enough said.  You may not need suboxone if you do that, because YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE A CHANCE!

Please get your mind straight and stay focused on your recovery!  I don't want to see you die!

I understand what you are trying to do, but why do you need to go back to the H?  Why not just start tapering now off the sub?  Your logic is do heroin for a-3 weeks to get all the sub out of your system, then get back on the sub for just a little while right?  I think tapering from the sub and no H is a better idea, and I'm sure deep down you probably agree, unless you're just looking for an excuse to have a good time for a little while.
