I feel like a cope out
Ye i'm over the moon that i have been heroin free for longer than i can remember ( apart from time in jail ) But why the hell do i feel like such a cope out for still been on a methadone programme & am still addicted to vallium. I don't miss heroin 1 bit, i no that may be hard to belive & ye now & then i get cravings. But in a whole wheni think about it the thought of the taste makes me feel sick, So ye i think ( pray ) i have come to the end of the road with that drug.
it's taken me so many years to get to this point, so i feel like i'm gonna be like 90 when i'm finally of all drugs :(.
I no this is a self pity post lol but i just had to let someone no how i feel, i carn't talk 2 my man about it as he's in the same place as me. So sorry guys lol. I hope everyone is having the best day possible :)

your not cop out, you did so well to come off heroin, and you dont want it anymore, that is a great achievement if you remember how you once were, and what you would do to get it,
you will also get to that point with the methadone, (and before your 90)!! i am sorry your having a down day, but your resolve to get clean is still there, and thats half the battle, you will get there nat, i have every faith in you! look after yourself, god bless, sudie

I know you and your partner have struggled for a long time with the heroin. I struggled for years with the pills and went on Sub (again) - day 330 something and wish I would have went cold turkey and got it over with, but I cold turkeyed 500+ times so this time I tried the Sub route again. So I can kinda relate.
Are you doing any meetings or counseling along with your methadone program? Maybe it would help to get out and talk to some other people where your at now.
I just wanted to say I don't think you are a cop out AT ALL. I've seen you on here the last 4 years quitting over and over again and Not Giving Up!
Have you thought about maybe tapering off the valium? Don't ever be sorry for posting and hopefully you are having a great day as well :)
