Is it "normal" to feel like a zombie?

I've posted other questions here, and you guys have been so helpful.  I'm now on my 9th day of cold turkey w/d from 210 mg/day oxycontin and 40mg/day percocet (prescribed).  

Something I didn't mention before, I'm 60 years old and weigh only 80 lbs - normal weight should be about 105.

Questions are, I'm so low on energy it's hard to do anything, except get up and pace the floors.  Do you think that a rehab program of some sort would be of any benefit, or should I just keep on sticking it out?

By the way, I haven't lost any more weight since going cold turkey, but know that the inability to gain my weight back was because of the drugs I was taking.

I find myself wishing I had those drugs again just so I wouldn't feel so awful, but haven't yet and will not get any more of them, though means are probably available.

I'm just so tired of feeling like this.... any suggestions?

Is there any way you can get ahold of your doctor today and ask for something that is non narcotic.   Your pain is wearing you down now and that takes a huge emotional toll on us.  The fog feeling is normal and that will subside....I wish i had some better answers for you.  Just know that i am here and am sending you a ton of strength~~~~~~~~sara

Well, it's the beginning of day 14, and I'm wondering how long this whole process of getting clean is going to take.

I woke up at 4am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep.  Well, I went to bed about 9 last night because I was just plain exhausted (and did nothing much all day).

I really need some emotional support.  AND PHYSICAL!  My head and neck are hurting like hell, and I'm really missing those little red pills.  I also found out that my appt. with the traction machine isn't until Weds., when I thought it was today.

Other than that... the usual... feeling VERY foggy (misplaced by bank card) and got it cancelled when I only wanted a duplicate.... the runs, as always....anxiety, ohhh the anxiety!

Any & all support is appreciated... I can use all the help I can get right now.
