I get that affect when people deal crack in front of me, or if i know someone is getting coke...
my friends clean off crack for 4 years she said it took a couple years so its normal
You got a little bit of a placebo effect when the documentary came on. Your mind got a little endorphin flood. When I would be starting to withdrawal between pills I would feel immediately better as soon as put the pills in my mouth. I'm sorry about the rls and insomnia. I'm barely getting through that stage but it is getting better. Your 17 days in!!!! Your about to kick this thing in the nutz!!!!
Some nights I took 5 and 6 baths a night, it will get better I promise
Hi Congratulations on , I guess you have 18 DAYS now!!!! Well done!!! It keeps getting better. I have 30 days now!! : O ) last night I had a little rls!! I was pretty surprised... Not bad, just a little... but after 30 days amazed me.. It wasn't bothersome aside for a couple seconds. Just put me on edge.. Though I had been taking norcos since 1991... That's a lot of years.. I feel so good now.. So much better.. I am getting back to me.. It's really something! The pain is already less.. I'm getting out and about. Visiting.. So, I'm pretty happy with that.. Congratulations on 18 DAYS!!!
I think this is a normal thing. You are psyching yourself out a little. Try to stay away from any movie or show that has drug use for a while as it can be a huge trigger. You are doing a fantastic job! Congrats on you 17 days! That is something to be very proud of. I suffered for the RLS and insomnia for quite a while. I had the anxiety that started every evening in anticipation of the night. Nights were always the worst for me. Try to do anything to wear yourself out during the day. I would take 3-4 walks during the day. Exercise really can help with healing and to exhaust you and lessen your anxiety. Maybe a nice hot bath before bed with some epsom salts in it. I had to put Icy Hot on my legs and wrap them in ace bandages to get any rest at night. It really helped me with the RLS. Just know that you are so close to being through the physical part of this. When you find yourself discouraged just think back to day 2-7 and how rough you felt. Look how far you have come! Things will keep getting better and better as long as you don't use. Hang in there. Please keep us updated. Take care of yourself and try to keep your head up my friend.
Sounds like you're doing all the right things. What about yoga or meditation?
Something to calm the mind as well as the spirit & body.
I'll check it out...ty ;)
aww crap really? Maybe you have to ask for it over the counter it's:
Dimenhydrinate tablets 50 mg.
I don't see anywhere that carries it except in Ca.
Aww, chin up doll,
just keep in your mind that there is no f*cking way you are going to go through this s*it again..you've had a really tough go of it.
remember how awful this was 16, 10, 5 days ago.......it's only going to get better.
Also "gravol" is an anti-nausea, motion sickness med., do you not have it in the states? Caution though, never overdo it with this, meaning don't take
a lot of it at one time. It really does help me go to sleep.
I think I've tried everything...maybe. I'm trying Malignlife I think it is for leg cramps and muscle spasms. I take at least 1 Epsom salt bath a day, eat my banana and take my vitamins. I often sit on a heating blanket and that helps sometimes...but others it seems like my whole body gets tingling from it. And yes...I pace a lot....and if someone tried to hold me down I think i'd go crazy
Awwww, damn rls.!
I think I told you before that I get rls too but it's more like my whole body, I just can't sit still and if someone tried to hold be down, I think it would drive me mad.
I know this is not much help now because you need sleep which will help with the rls eventually but for me.....I just keep moving it's like I have to keep moving, keep moving......keep moving....yup no moss on this gal! lol
Do the baths help with the rls.....the heat? What about a heating pad?
Massage? I feel really bad for you, you've got to get some sleep. Did
you happen to consider the "gravol" for sleep, it may help man, even if
for only a couple of hours at a time.
It's the only thing non addictive that worked for me.
Bless you
BTW...I think it was just a temporary reprieve....legs going crazy atm during Drugs Inc. and their pill junky episode which is me....so yeah....I feel better about that at least.
You are welcome to it and thank you for all the help and advice.
Morning bud,
hey, congrats on 17days!!! You're that much closer to squashing your w/d symptoms!
I've never done H before either but I do understand what you are talking about. When I was very young, I did speed a few times (mainlining). I LOVED it! Here's the thing.......to this day whenever I see someone getting blood taken from them or injecting anything into their arm I get a tiny pseudo rush, mimicking what I used to feel injecting speed.....even when I have to give blood. Trust me, it never made me want to go run
out and do it again for reals. And that was over 30yrs ago!
I can't really say what that is, but for you, don't worry about it, just be happy
you got some relief even for only a bit.
Imma gone steal your line, I love it!....."music, play it loud, sing it badly and endure". :o}
peace and hope.
