please read my first post I need help to help my son!!

went to hospital to see him of course no one knows his problem! they are going to send him to a hospital that is known for liver problems. i talked to him a ittle last night and of course he denies his addiction has caused this problem his upper arm looks the size of a 9 yr old little boy his body has a chemical smell has any one ever had this ?please read my other 2 post ! my heart goes out to all who have any addiction in there life ,this addiction gives nothing but takes everything ive seen it in my sons life

P.S.  You NEED to be as HONEST with the doctors as possible... they are there to help but CANNOT if we are NOT HONEST...

Just tell them WHAT YOU KNOW... and even WHAT YOU THINK YOU KNOW..

THE more information the doctors have... the better equiped they are to help..

OH sweet pea.. my heart goes out to you.. (I too have a son)

First off... let me ask.. how old is your son?

Second... do you KNOW what his drug of choice is.. AND how much he is using..

Third... He will be in a GOOD PLACE... a hospital... which can help him.. and you..

And....Try and remember that "DENIAL (DE-NILE) is NOT A RIVER IN EQYPT!:  
Your son is gonna lie to you... maybe cheat... steal from you ....and BREAK YOUR HEART....but it's all part of a process to HIS road to RECOVERY...

Don't mean to sound harsh.. but just trying to be realistic...

If you have the strenght right now... locate a local ALANON meeting...it will help you see that you are NOT ALONE!!!
