Monthly Roll Call time!!!!!!

Sorry I'm a couple days late everyone!!! Once again it's time for roll call!! For the newer members this is everyone's chance to post your clean time no matter how long it is!!!

This month I want to hear from EVERYONE!!!! Especially the newer members and those just starting on their road to recovery......I feel it's really important to celebrate our successes along the way no matter how long they are.

So.....even if you're 1 day clean lets hear it!!! Congratulations on taking that first step!! Know that you will make it even if it seems impossible. Stay strong everyone!!!

CLARIFICATION.....gabapentin is not considered an addictive medication by most experts.  It can be abused; it can also aid some people in narcotic w/drawals.  Please don't panic.....many people take it for medical issues and are pleased with their results.  I just was at a place in my life that I wanted to be off ALL drugs that affected my neuro pain pathways and gaba receptors so I could re-evaluate my OWN pain/nerve damage.

Sorry if my post misled you.....I was having LOTS of side effects, negative ones....and it was my personal choice to wean slowly off of it to get a clear and accurate picture of my pain levels, see how much of my nerve damage was permanent and re-evaluate nerve pain.

Gabapentin!!!!!! I had no idea it is addicting! The doctors put me on that too. OMG! Sooo happy you sai someting. I will start tomorrow! Blessings.

Hi all ! I have been off and on these boards since July 2007 . A couple setbacks and a few MIA's but I really think I will be part of this community the rest of my days . Its nice to have a place to come were you're not judged by your imperfections as a human being . The support I got hear when I was going threw anxiety Hell was wonderful and I will never forget it . I wish everyone success in regaining your life's back . Oh and I stand at 1,350 days .Jimmy
