Yes honey it is normal about the cravings. I get hit hard with them constantly but then i go and do something anything to get my mind off of it. We are fighting for our lives and we are worth it! The stomach issues and not feeling so good you might have a stomach bug. Be strong and be proud you are doing this!
I am 25days without Norco 10.. after 13 years taking them. I don't know how many you took per day. I usually took 3 a day... sometimes more..usually 3. Some days I find are very good (but still the pain) Although, the pain is not as intense, most of the time. If I overdo it one day I might have bad pain the next. I feel pretty happy. I pray a lot. I believe with all my heart that God is helping me. Maybe you took more pills, or different pills than I did when you quit.. But, what I know is there are good days and there are bad days... Your brain is trying to get back to normal.. I find I have absolutely wonderful days, then some very bad days... Seems to keep getting better and better.. I think symptoms can come back.. on occasion... but, you will get right back to feeling good again.. : O ) Congratulations!!!
Could you actually have the flu?
Myself, I know what the pain pills did to me!!! I would never want another one as long as I live!!
Thank you mommy. Maybe I'll leave work and go for a walk or something.
Hi there friend,
Congrats on day 32!! that's awesome for you. I'm sorry you're feeling
crappy. Just a thought though; I'm at day 58 and feeling pretty ok physically today but omg, 2 weeks ago I started to feel really down and
crappy physically, couldn't get going.....it totally felt like I was back in w/d's.
I thought my ailments were due to my seasonal allergies which are hellish
right now, but long story short.....I had the flippin flu! For just over a week
which is pretty par for flu.
Could it be possible you are just coming down with something?
wish you well msdelight.
peace and prayers
Oh yeah its normal! Lol! Takes some time to get back to "normal" whatever that is! I remember feeling soooo bad around day 48 and I was like WTF!! It was like Gods gentle reminder of how terrible the pills were for me! HANG IN THERE! NO TURNING BACK!
Your doing GREAT!

Hi suzz. Not sure about the flu. Don't think I have a fever but who knows. Thanks 4 the encouragement
Sounds more like a bug or flu,
I had some issues still do but don't know if its stress or w/d
What ever it is know your STRINGER that the cravings reach out and know we care!!!
You can do this and things always get better!!!
Thank you spider, rosy and heather for the encouragement. Still feel awful hopefully just the flu. Pushing through it. Bless ypu all
Just keep going friend !! Distract yourself and get some exercise by taking a brisk walk .....unless of course, you have the flu .....which you could have. It's going around . Just keep taking it day by day. It takes time but every day you are getting better whether you feel it or not . Keep it up friend ! You are an inspiration ;))
Hi msdelight. I am 22 days clean today and last Friday I started feeling horrible! Thought I was back to the first week of withdrawals too. I went to my doctor and I had strep throat and a sinus infection! Had to go back to the doctor an hour ago cuz I was feeling worse and sure enough...I have the flu! My doctor had to remind me that when I feel bad from here on out that I need to consider that I could be sick like normal people! Lol. One month ago, everything revolved around pills and now I think everything revolves around withdrawal! Sad when my doctor has to remind me that I am like a normal person now, with normal sickness! I hope you start feeling better!
Your clean time is fantastic, however, you are experiencing the detox roller coaster. For the next weeks, even months, you'll feel great, then hit a low. Its normal. So, hang on and buckle up. The ride does even out with the passing of time.
The cravings are normal, that's why having cut sources and having roadblocks preventing easy access to meds is so important right now. If you can access meds you will relapse.
