Suboxone vs drug of choice

Hey everybody just wanted to post something about the sub that I really like. I spent 350.00 on my first appointment with the sub doctor. I spent $140 for my first script of the sub. I just got a refill and because its covered on my insurance it cost me $60. I see the doctor once a month now that cost me $100 dollars. So I am spending $160 a month now versus $200 dollars a week on lortabs. That is a huge difference. So even if I do have to go through w/d from the sub I will have learned to live without pills. Changed my habits and behavioral patterns. Gotten my life back together, saved my marriage, reconnected with my children, saved my career and saved a ton of money.

Many here have said they can't afford sub! This proves otherwise. Also it gets you off the pills which do so much more damage than just financial burdens. ♥

You are right I am thinking with a clear head for the first time in a long long time. I have started to taper off of the sub and so far no problems. I will be so glad when I am completely free from all of this. I was so sick and tired of the cycle I didn't know if I would ever be able to feel normal again and live a normal life.

Well said.  Cheaper, a clearer head to make good choices, and time to mend relations.

From what I have read, if you are to be on sub long term (over 21 days) then a long slow taper is best, down to the smallest possible crumb.  You decide, because you are no longer in a fog.  You aren't, are you?
