Hi Don Congrats on day 2 !! the only problem I see with weed is it may enhance the anxiety associated with wd.. try eating even nibbling on small things and make sure you stay dehydrated, You may try to force yourself to walk if even around the house this helps a lot with the rls and aches also helps with the anxiety.. Keep looking forward you are on your way to a good life Free in body and mind :) lesa
I think even though you are getting rid of your DOC you need to change your whole life. There are other nonaddicting OTC meds that could help you sleep or talk to your doctor about inability to sleep.

Hi! I think you could make WD worse, especially in the beginning. I have not tried it, but I have heard several people say that they wish they had not done it!
Try some Valerian Root. Melatonin. More hot baths. Nyquil at night for a couple of days as needed.
Good luck!
I normally side step issues that encourage other bad habits, but I also like to provide honest and open answers about my experiences....so with all that said, it was part of my detox regimen periodically....with mixed reviews. In the earlier days, it made the anxiety almost more intense and later (I have 56 days off methadone) it provides a nausea prevention effect that helps from time to time. Long term, I do not intend to keep this as a habit, but in the mean time, opiate addiction is my main concern and target.
I no way encouraging you to use, but I also know how intimidating it can be coming on a site and being open about your struggles. Everyone has their own path, and I just thought I would share a view into mine. Also, you may want to consider melantonin for the sleep, it defitely helped me get at least 4-5 hours a night in the early days.
Good luck with your recovery.
