Will My Girl come back home ??

well me and my girl been together for bout 1 year now and in the beging she told me she  had problms with herion but she been clean since she been out of jail , then bout 6months into our relationship she relaps  she was useing for a about 3weeks and she stoped and went to a methofdone and was doing good then she got off that 3monts later and 2weekafter that she relaps again  then went back to methofdome and was on it for about 2more months and was doing good but like 1 week later she relaps again and left the house and have not came home for bout 2weeks she write me on face book and tell me soory and want to come back and after that no calls or nothing we were bout to move she had 2 jobs line up and she just said forget everything ,what is wrong with her ?? what is going on in a herion users head will she come back and when how long will this last???????????????????????

I am a codeine addict clean now for three weeks and one day. I have a husband and a child. All addicts have to be ready to get clean. There has to be a trigger in there own minds, Addicts can only give up for themselves. And to be honest sweet heart your girl probably wants to be clean, all addicts do. But until she's ready there nothing you can do. Saying do it for me do it for this. She probably really does.want it all, but the addiction is stronger. Addict use people to feed there addiction. I am not saying this to be cruel but I know cos I am one. If you stay with her like her you will be controlled be the drug. I don't mean by taking it , but just the stuff the addict do and go through. You'll only be happy when she is happy and she is only happy when she is high. You need to let go, All addicts need to face the addiction. And sometimes friend and family being there may help the addiction supporting it. I hope she gets gets the help I really do. Here is an old scottish saying wats fir ya ill no go past yi - meaning what is meant to be will be. And maybe one day you both can be together properly with out he third party - the addiction cos nothing is more awkward threes a crowd x x x x x

Welcome to the forum marc.  Heres the thing with addicts.  Once an addict always an addict.  If she does come back she will have to get into some type of rehab.  Addiction follows us all thru our life. Right now her first love is Heroin and she will do whatever she needs to do to keep that affair alive.  There is nothing you can do for her until she is ready to get help.  Dont give her any money right now.  Check into alanon for you.  They also understand what it is like to be with an addict.  I hope she will see the light and get the help she so desperately needs but until then all you can do is take care of you.  I know this hurts and i know you want her to come back but you dont want her like this. sara

Marc I am so sorry you are going through this. I am even sorrier to tell you your going to have to let her go. There is nothing you can do until she makes up her own mind.
We don't know what goes on in the head of herion users other then where are they going to get there next fix.It is all up to her how long it last.

My advise to you is going to sound a bit harsh and I am sorry for that let her go. Be there is she needs you but you can bet it will be on her terms and you will never know how long it will last.
