i went to a counselor for quite a while . . . well into my third year of recovery. he was a big help to me.
i don't think that going to a shrink or counselor is alone a sufficient recovery program, but it's a great addition to any program.

You will talk for a while about your problem the Doc. will try to analyze your situation. It will take a few visits for treatment but he or she will come up with a plan to suit you. And you can tell him or her what you want to try and a decision will be made. Ive been there good to talk to a addictions specialist they no there business.
