Two weeks-thanks to all of you

Well I have made it 2 weeks and I am feeling good. Worked a lot over the weekend so that helped out with keeping my mind busy. Other than physically tired, I feel pretty good and I owe that to all the people that keep pumping me up. No way a few days into this thing would I have said I would make 2 weeks clean, but here I am. For people coming into this forum, come in write, talk, ask questions this place will get you through the tough times. The people here are truly amazing. I love all you and thanks for the guidance and support. Matty

I do have aftercare planned Sarah and it starts up this Friday, so I got that in place which I think I need. Thanks for asking

Great Work Matty,

I just passed 36 days with no opiates. I was talking up to 250-300mgs a day for months and been using for years. I didn't taper much, which could have been dangerous. I went from 300mg to 50 next day to 5 then was done...tough stuff I must say, but did it.

As a friend, be aware of your increasing self-confidence. What I mean by that is this..

I am noticing the little devil on my shoulder saying :"you did the hard work, now you can be confident you can USE socially again"

I haven't,  but that is a very normal thing to feel. If you feel that way change your frame of mind quickly. Because addicts cannot use socially. 1 it too many and 1000 never enough.

get to NA too, which will help.

Anyway. congrats but be aware and conscious of pit falls.
