When I finally quit, I had NO clue what I was doing either. I thought just staying off the drugs was enough, but it wasn't. That is why I recommended some type of aftercare and learn the tools to stay clean. We learn as we go.

i honestly have no idea how to stay clean this time...i think part of what happened was over my morphine detox i started drinking wine in the evenings to help with rls...obviously that was a bad idea, after i had a few months clean i went to run a bar and kitchen, that made it real easy to start drinking earlier and earlier each day, so i guess i should probably stay outta bars, but beyond that im have no idea what im doing.

Welcome back. So today is day 1 for you and the start of a better life clean and sober:) So many of us here have got cross addicted also, but a drug is a drug no matter what it is. The sleep will take some time to come back, there are otc things you can take such as melatonin etc.

May I ask what you are going to do to stay clean this time? Have you thought about getting some aftercare, such as meetings or something that suits you? Congrats on stopping and keep getting support. Best of luck in your recovery.
