8 days clean, and almost feel normal after abusing perks for years

8 d ays clean and had the crappiest day at work today, and never once thought of wishing to take a perk. God is Great! Thankyou all in this forum. Keep posting,..you all give me so much hope that maybe I can beat this. I read the postd everyy night. Some remind me how far I've come, some give me hope to keep going. Thankyou.....one day at a time.

hey hun congrats on the 8 days. GOD is great and greatly to be praised.. yep we all have krappy days, thats life.some goods days and some bad ones. you can look at life as a throne bush with roses or a rose bush with thorns.  it all depends on how we handle it.
there is definitely hope, keep fighting the good fight. keep on keeping on.press on towards the mark,

your doing amazing. Ive regretted going on methadone from pain pills for almost 4 years. From everything ive read and heard, your almost there. Im on day 13 of methadone detox and it takes everything inside to stay positive.. You are making an awesome change in your life.. J
