how suboxone works

I understand it has a ceiling cap and half life.  How does taking 3 doses a day effect you?  I mean you take 4mg. It is stored with a half life, when I take my next dose in 8 hours how much do I now have?  I know that it caps what does that really mean, just you aren't getting anymore but it is still in you.  Please help.  I am curious as to how if any this would effect detoxing.  Also, why place us on a drug that will stop the withdrawal we were trying to escape and place us at the mercy of twice as long withdrawal due to half life.  Wonderful for those who are addicted to drugs and never coming off, cruel joke to those who just wanted off the crap.  Sob.....

sub is a partial opiate agonist-antagonist take a look here if u can http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buprenorphine
i dont believe everything i read from wikipedia but with cross referencing it can be very acurate info.

The ceiling effect of Suboxone holds true for all effects – that is, after a certain point, taking more of the medication won’t increase any of the effects of the drug. Taking a higher dosage of Suboxone won't result in much intoxication, but it also won’t cause much risk of respiratory depression and possible overdose death.

gnarly_1 has great info and knows his stuff well , he is one of the ones i respect and always listen to.

HI......sub can be useful in breaking the habit of eating pills all dat long it clears your mind wile filling the opiate receptors so your not craving it also make it impossible to use your doc to get high you would be wasting your money on the down side for many it is like jumping form the frying pan into the fire sub is a crap shoot coming off it has a long 1/2 life and you often dont feel withdrawals for several days the withdrawal can be mild or it can come on like a bear you wont know till you do it typically coming off the pills is a lot ezer sub should only be used on the most chronic of users that have already tryed to get clean by quitting it is not a get out of jail card and you will not get around withdrawals using it try tapering of your doc or just jumping C/T if that dont work after several attempts then I would try sub......good luck and God bless.....Gnarly
