Heroin and Infertility?

I am a 23 year old female. I quit using drugs 2 months ago, but I was doing drugs on and off for 2 years. 2 months of that time I was using Heroin. Say I want to have children in 5 years, do you think this history will effect my child greatly or is 5 years enough time to clean out my reproductive organs?

Doesnt make you infertile. Atleast not in woman? I know a few females who have been long term addicts who have had kids during their addiction.
It can however cause miscarriage, deformation, etc. if your prego.

I personally do not think your conceiving will be effected but I'm no expert so why not make a app. have blood test run for liver kidney function be tested for hep C and a overall check-up it may ease your fears.. Congrats on your decision to quit drugs That alone is the best chance to can give a babe.. I wish you well.. lesa
