i have done crack before i know its bad but i cant keep it off my mind and i dont know if i want to do it again i guess thats why they call it *highly addicting* how do i take it off my mind ... i want to do it but then again i dont want to be addicted to crack im only 17

I have 2 teenagers one 19 and the other 17. My oldest have a drug addiction, but he's overcome it because he knows that it will destroy his life. I know the feeling of wanting a drug as I'm an addict myself, but you have to have the desire to stop and realize that the drugs will, not maybe, destroy your life. If you ever want to talk PM me. I'm very close to my teenagers and they are honest with me so maybe I could help you come to terms with your feelings.

I am going to give you several answers here.I was 17 years old and did no drugs when I had my first child and its hard as hell.I cant imagine being that age, having a baby, and an addiction.
secondly, my mom was a drug addict for as long as I can remember.she had 7 kids.we were all raised by different people.my mom died when she was 42 years old.she accidently overdosed.all she left behind was 7 kids who all wanted answers and a heartbroken family.
third, I am 25 now with 3 kids and I do have an addection that I JUST quit cold turkey.It is hell to detox with children.It is hell to have your kids see you as an addict.PLEASE rethink your decision to have a baby untill you are clean and alittle more stable.
If you are serious about quitting stay on this site and get support.I agree with everything FLMAGI told you.

Girl it's a choice that will affect you for the rest of your life!!! You can either do it and go downhill from there or fight the temptations and live a successful life! Your only 17...don't think twice about it, especially if you want children....I hope for the best in your future!

hey, that's the thing about crack, once you smoke it, you'll always think about it...it's really hard to get it out of your head...ever seen that movie "party monster"...."that rat's on crack attack!!!!!"  hahahhahahaa....what a ****** up movie, BUT  it gives you a good idea about what you're infor if you start messing with it....based on a true story too...check it out.  But seriously....get off the drugs altogether if you're tryin to get pregnant...and stay off them for 9 months or so....or maybe, if you want to be a good mom, quit forever

yea thats crack just dont do it again uno my buddy was gona go to msu and he started smoking crack every now and then like once a months tords the end of his junior year and by his senior year he had 4 burglary charges and stole a caddy from the dealship so yeah i dunno i wouldnt mess with it

Just take a ride to the nearest crack alley and take a look at what some of those crack addicts are doing to get a 2.00 rock. This is not mean't to be rude just real. Hope you choose not to go down that road.

Sounds that away to me, if that's what you want to be. There is so much more in the world you could be, take it from a old dude you only get one chance at the brass ring. Think about why you like doing drugs, is that the life you want for your baby. Think about having a baby right now too, you are so young and have a chnce to be anything you dream about. Sorry if I sound like I am preaching, I just don't want to see you do things now you will regret the rest of your life.

well i am 18 and i have seen crack ruin many peoples lives. including my fathers. he has been on coke/crack since be4 i was born, he has gone through $300,000 in injury settlements from work and he now rents a room in someone elses house, with no car. he ripped my family apart coming home on rages, it is not a pretty road, nor are the pain killers. i no its hard being young but they are not the way to go.

Welcome to the forum.  If you are serious about stopping, they'll have to be some changes made. You'll have to stop associateing with the people that do it and sell it. You probably need to get to some N/A meetings.  And you'll probably need to find some different things to do other than what you've been doing. You need new friends, some hobbies and a job if you don't have one, maybe church too.
So are you serious about this?  Oh, and keep posting. Everyone here will help you thru this.  Your to young to screw up your life......not that there's any age one should screw up their life, you just have so much future ahead of you ....if you stop.  If you don't, your future will go down the tubes pretty damm quick.

What do you like to do as hobbies? Finding something that you enjoy, other than drugs, is a good way to keep your mind occupied.
