my sister is very sick with withdrawls and cant eat how long will this last she is on day 3

I used for 2 years also and the 2 - 5 days were bad for me. Have her take hot baths for the body aches with bath salts and hot, hot water. I was only able to eat toast with jam and smoothies. Even then I had to force myself. Zero energy and cried alot. Was not able to sleep at all. I had to take sleeping pills, which didnt even work that well. It is a painfull process and easy to cave in. I did a week later and am so mad at myself. I quit cold turkey the first time and took a week off work. My family knew about it. So this time Im on my own weening myself very descreatly. She is lucky to have you there for her. Good luck and read the amino acid protocall and Thomas recipe, I havent tried it yet but hear it works well.

What kind of pain killers was she on? As long as it wasn't methadone it shouldn't be but a few more days. Some of us seem to take longer than others but some are luckier.

2 years is about how long I've been on them (although on and off) but this last time for around 11 months and the worst for me was probably day 4 and 5.  Horrible fatique but I'm getting energy back w/supplements and my sleep is getting better.

If she is on day 3 and a "medium" user she ought to start feeling some nice relief in a day or two.  However, heavier users could experience w/d's for up to 7-10 days.

Time is your enemy right now but quickly becomes your best friend.

Keep her positive and keep her hanging in there.

on painkillers for 2 years maby longer dont know how many but i would say a lot

How much was she using and for how long.  That will help answer the question.
