Girl all we have is today! One day at a time..Not to bring this up or be a downer, but I just lost 3 loved ones in the last 2 Months and sit over here and watch my Mom die of Caner in front of my eyes. ALL I can do is reach out for more Support and give it to God. I have no control over what is going on. I am a mess but I will survive..Just reach out and look for some support. It will all fall in place and the Heart & Soul will heal a bit. Keep pushing..Never look back!!!

Ok finally got an Epsom salt bath! My 4 year old sat in bathroom whole time, but after so many days with no time for even a shower an Epsom salt bath was awesome! Still hurting alot but at least its close to bedtime. I can't sleep with broken ribs, can't lay down or even sit comfortably, but kids should hopefully go to sleep and I can plan everything, make lists, get laundry done, clean up, maybe even read a book or something! My life is unmanageable and not sure where to go after that, don't know what to do next. I just need housing, daycare, job, a lawyer, some money, the pain to stop, my period to go away, get away from ex and mom and stay away from opiates. And I need it all done now.

i had broken ribs, it was extremely painful, I was only 16 at the time. Hang in there. I did it with Advil, and I lived through it.

Tiger can your 14 year old help you with you 4 year? You can see how old I am. Didn't know about not wrapping the ribs.

Thanks for the comments everyone! And they don't wrap ribs anymore as it can cause more problems like general breathing, your ribcage must move, and it can lead to punctured lungs. I have been to my regular Dr to follow up, she's on board with the no narcotics and told me to alternate otc stuff. All I have is Motrin and Excedrin. And I'm flat broke. I ripped up and threw away the script for 10 lortabs at the hospital so there is no getting those back even if I wanted to. I am so tired of the pills merry go round, I never want to see another. And wouldn't have anyone to hand them out. All I know is these broken ribs are killing me, I'm trying to take care of kids by myself nowhere to go, can't sit can't stand can't lay, even breathing hurts. My life is such a mess. I completely realize this and surrender but now what?

Tiger I agree with Tooter are your ribs wrapped, are you going to the doc for a followup appt. Broken Ribs are a Biattchh. I agree with Vic as well can someone hold your pills? You've said your Mom is an addict what about your dad? Praying for you Sister.

What have you been taking for an otc?its our wonderful addict brain saying you need narcotics! Try Advil, try aleve and tylonel and ice lots of ice. Alternate the Advil and tylonel and try to keep mind off it , I know easier said then done.

Girl YOU DO NOT NEED ANY MORE STRESS IN YOUR LIFE!!!! Do you have anybody who can hand those pain pills out to you?? Even if it is for a few days..You do not have to suffer..I know you through away the scrip but maybe just maybe you might need them right now..Just DO NOT have them in your hand..The Addiction can get going with just "ONE". BUT if you can have someone help that would be good..Like I said a couple of days will not hurt if you do not know where there at..I wish you the best..Take some Baths too!! lol
