opiate withdrawl

I've been an opiate addict for 4 yrs now I tried to quit many times but the withdrawls always made me go back to using. ITS PAINFULL. I did try the suboxone program did it for 5 mons. But the price and the fact that they were just loading me up, (not weenin me off). I decided to ween myself off. BIG mistake i dont think it is poss. to do it yourself (coldturkey). I am on my 2nd day and i feel like death. Is it poss. to quit coldturkey or should i get help?

You are 2 days into this, just keep going...Do u have the things that will help you through this...
there is the thomas recepie you can find on here...Also, dont' forget about the hot baths, immodium etc...Drink lots of water...Flushes the toxins out !

After i got off the sub. I Started oxy 20mg

SO u are off of sub for how long?  and what were you taking after and how many??  
I was up to 15 10 mgs a day of hydros...I am over 6 months clean..I was using for 3 yrs...I did a quick taper, not a really good one, wasnt strong enough, then i went c/t...It was not easy but u can do it!!!

It was the sub. after i had no more suboxone I had a bad withdrawl, USED AGAIN, now just trying to stop the need for Any opiate.

It is probably better to taper off the sub.

Are you going cold turkey off Sub or opiates?
If its the Sub, you should taper off that very slowly. It is possible to go cold turkey but not very comfortably.

it is possible , many here have done it! you can too, try the thomas recipe in the health page section of the forum top right.. i dont do pills , different doc! but i wanted to say welcome to the forum , keep strong and focused, and keep posting. we will support ya  all the way...
