oxycontin withdrawl

today im feeling much better i got out there and ran for the first time in forever and it made me feel great and im only on my 3rd day and in 3 days i've probably taken 6mgs of suboxone the whole time.  the only thing im wondering is if the suboxone will give me bad withdrawls if i only take it for 4 to 5 days max.  will all the oxycontin be out of my system so that when i stop the 1mg of suboxone i have been taking for the past 4 to 5 days so that i wont go into withdrawls all over again.  will someone who has taken suboxone like im trying to do right now please respond so i can get some real information other than someone telling me to take methadone which is stronger and more addictive to oxycontin. thanks all of u for your support it means alot to me and once im better i will be there for anyone else who comes along and is feeling the same way i am now.

hey there... i am on day 3 of oxy w/d... i bought four 8mg suboxones from someone... i have been breaking them into quarters which i find is enuf to curb the worst w/d's.... you should not have much of a withdrawal from taking sub's for a week or less..... mainly just fatigue...and its all gonna be mental from here on out..... good luck with the cravings, im trying my best to ignore them, but that lil green pill is still on my mind :-(...... any question's just ask me

There will be no withdrawal with the Suboxone since you are only on it for such a short period. I was on it 16 days, and I had no withdrawal.

So, once the physical is over, be very careful of the mental withdrawal, i.e., cravings..etc. You should have a plan in place to deal with that.

You should be fine on the sub. Good job getting clean!
