i abruptly stopped taking vicoprofen. I am going through withdrawl symptoms, how long will i suffer for? i have been on them for about a week. 6 pills a day

I was on them for 2 years or more up to 8-12/day...tapered for a while and then CT..was feeling crummy for a week or so then woke up one day and said "you know....I think I'm feeling pretty good!"


And then my doctor put me on "non addictive" tramadol

Ya that's almost no time for ur body to get used to it... I took them for three months abt 10 750s a day stopped and felt nothing. Noes a lil different for me but that was just for an injury

It is a short time.  Withdrawal symptoms can be very similar to flu-like symptoms.  Not sure where you are, but I know 2 of my 4 kids have been sick with flu-type things the last few weeks; mostly stomach, diarrhea, achy stuff.  Could be that.

what are your symptoms that is a very short amount of time to have wd....have you had addiction problems to opiates before

wow, you are going through w/ds after taking them for only a week...i am surprised you would have any w/ds.  they surely shouldnt last but a couple days.  when did you stop?  are you sure you dont have the flu or something???  stick around, i am sure others will give their opinions as well.  good luck to you.
