so tired of it, im checking in to treatment
Hi everyone, you all know me, probably from the Brother Frankie dispute, but, i have decided tonite, i can not quit on my own, i have tried and tried, to no avail. There is a treatment center that want to get me in, have you guys heard of it, its called The Treatment Center, they are in Florida, i have already talked to counselors, they will not let me suffer, they will help me through this, and if one thing, i have put up with my husbands abuse enough, and have tried and tried again to quit taking pills, this is the only way out, i HAVE to get away and get clean, away from all these surroundings. I know i t will be hard coming back, but i just want to be able to get clean, i \CANT do it on my own, i have insurance, so im going, please post and let me know this is the right thing to do.....im soooooo scared, but ready, thanks.

I'm excited 4 U!! I have learned this week that you have got to put everything and everyone else aside for a moment and be selfish for a change. It's probably been way to long since you have put yourself first and it's long over due. You and your family will benefit from it in the long run. Won't it be nice to actually be "you" again? Take the time, take the help, this does not make you weak in any way. It makes you brave and ready for a bright new future with a clear mind. treatment centers save lives if you have the ins for it then by all means go and get the help you need....be open to what they teach as addicts the very way we think must change to overcome this illness work the program they give you take everything to heart and then set up some form of aftercare once your out to help keep you clean and sober ...I wish you all the best

Treatment is the best option for any addict if they have the means. I'm so happy for you. Stay as long as you possibly can. Even if you feel like you are good to go after a week don't leave. Make sure you take full advantage of everything they have to offer. Don't second guess your decision. You are definitely doing the right thing!
