i start suboxone induction on monday and they told me that i had to wait at leaset 3 days to get off opiates to start it.. he said he will be able to tell if i tokk ne thing or not by my vitals?? i took a half today at 11:30 do u think hes going to tell i need this tretmeant and im scared hes going to refuse me someone give me answers..

i believe i posted on another post of urs...if u do not use opiates for 3 days..methadone and sub excluded...u r half way thru the battle..be sure u know what ur getting in to

Man that defeats the whole purpose.....Unless you were on Meth...you only need 18-24 hours off of opiates.........but i have heard of doctors getting you to go real far into w/d so that when they give you the sub...you think they are gods and it is the greatest thing in the world...Its a mental game.....

I might be wrong...so if i am i'm sorry....i'm a little angry sometimes.

how much and what have you been taking becuase if you make it threw three days of wd you may want to forget sub a few more days and your wds will be gone.(unless it's methadone)

I am not sure where you are going. I had suboxone treatment to get off of oxycontin. I was not told anything like that. I took my last one the evening before I went to treatment. I destroyed the rest.  I know they can tell by your vitals because your b/p,pulse, and temp will all be ELEVATED if you have not had any for 3 days. I do not know why they told you that nor why they would refuese you. Is this an in or out patient treatment?

he wont refuse you .. as long as you haven't taken any methadone it will be out of your system by mon morning .
