The craving begin!

Ive felt pretty good today while I was at work but when I got home the cravings started. Im not in pain just craving that feeling you get when it first kicks in. I will not give in though. Not sure how much sleep I will get tonight but besides that it hasnt been to bad.

The cravings and mental part is the toughest. Have u looked into any aftercare? It's huge in helping to deal with cravings.

This is normal and get a little easier to control the longer you're clean, but honestly it never stops. After care is a must. And having a support system in place is also very important. If you omit either the odds will not be in your favor. Stay strong.

I do have a good support system but I need to check into some after care. I was able to sleep all night yay. Not having any cravings yet this morning just shaking. Thank Yall for the support!

The cravings will come and go. It's really good to know that they will go. It won't be like that forever, just in the moment they're happening. The further along you get the further apart they get. But like everyone said above, aftercare! A good program of recovery will quickly spread the cravings apart, especially as you work on your program. Our addiction never goes away and must have daily treatment. Number one priority in our lives. Congratulations on your clean time!
