Exercise helps me.  It doesn't have to be much.  Maybe just going for a walk, bike ride,  anything to get moving.  Exercise makes chemicals in our bodies which help us feel better too.  Sometimes even doing some house or yard work is good too.  Not only do we get some exercise but we clean up a little and get a sense of acomplishment.  The trick for me was to not wait for the exercise mood to strike but to strike the tired mood with some exercise.  Keep moving forward you are doing great!!!!

HI coming off narcotics can be a grind both physically as well as mentally I tell everyone this is 1/3 physical and 2/3 mental be ready to fight on both fronts....the crying and emotional dispare is just another part of the detox...if effects everyone differently ...I know I was an emotional mess when I first got clean its no fun going there it alone...this is where your aftercare come in it will give you the tools and skills to help get threw some of this...there will also be an open ear for someone to here just how your feeling and trust me they will be able to relate ...also supplements help out with the energy thing you can go to the right had side of the screen and look up the amino acid protacall this has helped many of our members
I drink whey protein shakes...there loaded with vitamins amino acids as well as the protein all of witch the brain needs to heal you can pick up a 2lb can up at walmart for 15 buck the chocolate flavor is good just mix it with milk I drink 2 a day and have noticed considerable improvements since I started give it a try....right now try not to get discouraged you will get threw this part of the withdrawal hang in there do what I suggested and it will begin to help good luck and God bless Gnarly

The tired will stop when the drugs flush out of you so drink plenty of good drinks. After 3 to 7 days depends on how much and how long you were taking. Stay strong and positive and you can do it. There are many people here who want to help

As difficult as it seems, the best remedy for tiredness is exercise (that is way easier to say than to do).  As for the emotional aspect, something I can certainly empathize with, a simple trick when feeling down is to catch a funny movie or talk with someone who puts you in a more positive frame of mind.
The lack of energy and the emotional toll of withdrawals are some of the worst symptoms for me personally...and those are often the symptoms that tend to linger.  It also helps to know that others are experiencing the same feelings and that you are not alone.
Have you checked out the Thomas Recipe?  The vitamins, herbs and plenty of water  makes a huge difference and helps with physical, mental and emotional withdrawals.
Keep posting and best of luck to you.
